Halfway Mark at the MTC

We received our weekly email and letter from Scott this week.
I hope this continues throughout his mission because it is a great comfort to hear he is doing well.
He didn't go into a lot of detail this week but he is well and enjoying his time learning and being in the MTC.

I'm glad you guys got my pictures!!!!! I was a little worried about that. Yeah it's still great here and it's nuts every wednesday I see some more people that I know come in!!! It's crazy how many people I know here!!!!!!! Anyways, my time is almost up so I got to wrap things up here pretty fast. But a letter is on it's way so I'll tell you more about what is going on. "Hey Everybody!!!!

Everything is still SUPER great here!!!! Thanks for all your prayers.  They really do help!  So the past week has been pretty crazy. I've taught a lot of lessons and my Spanish is getting pretty good!!! Ha ha, funny story...So, yesterday Elder Tukia and I taught one of our investigators named Richardo and it went really well.  We brought the spirit and he said the closing prayer which we were really excited about!!! But anyway, back to the funny part.  We were about to leave and I was trying to ask him if it would be okay if we brought a member with us in our next visit but I couldn't remember how to say bring so I ask Elder Tukia and he told me that it was yeka {which is a bogus word and doesn't mean anything}.  I didn't believe him at  first but I was desperate so I said it.  Richardo started laughing.  Oh man, it was great!!! Also yesterday at dinner, Elder Tuikia was drinking and I guess he was trying to see if he could break the cup and he was squeezing it and it just shattered!!!  And these cups are pretty thick.  They're like those glasses we have so they are super thick and he shattered it with one hand!!! It was pretty dang ridiculous!!!!

Anyway, it's been pretty sweet!!! On Sunday, this one musician lady who plays the violin came for the devotional and she was so freakin' good!!! She played 'I Know that My Redeemer Lives' and she was playing 3 notes at the same time harmonizing with herself!!!! It was seriously one of the coolest/craziest things I've ever seen!!!!  Oh man, it was NUTS!!!!

Love you guys!!!!"
